About us


In the heart of Preston, first opened in 1964, St Georges is long established as the main shopping centre in the city centre.


As a Security Officer you will be responsible for the safety and security of the shopping centre, its tenants, and customers.

You will a Brand Ambassador delivering first class customer service to all who you meet.


Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Engaging with members of the public, contractors and retailers, answering queries and offering assistance as required, supporting retailers with theft prevention.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable management requests.

As a Security Officer you will need:

  • Valid SIA Licence
  • you MUST have this to be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years security experience working in a similar role, i.e retail.
  • First Aid certification is desirable.
  • A valid CCTV Licence is desirable.
  • You must be flexible, working 5 days out of
  • Highly motivated.
  • Excellent customer service / interpersonal skills.

Hourly rate is £10.76 with double time paid on bank holidays.
