Agricultural Service Engineer

My client is a titan in the realms of agriculture, vehicles, and groundcare with a history spanning over eight decades.

They stand as one of the most substantial AGCO dealers in the UK, presenting both brand-new machinery and expert aftersales support for esteemed brands such as Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Valtra, and JCB, along with a comprehensive range of complementary equipment from top manufacturers.

Entrusted with the repair and upkeep of world-class agricultural machinery, including tractors and combines.

Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, ensuring all machinery is safe to use and operates in line with the manufacturer's guidelines.

Collaborating effectively with service and workshop managers to achieve tight schedules.
Travelling to various customer locations around your base depot for servicing and repair duties. (A full driving licence is mandatory)

Holds a Level 3 qualification in Land Based Engineering, or an equivalent in HGV, Plant, or Construction.
Keen to undertake any supplementary training, including specialised manufacturer training to continually update and refine skills.
Seasoned in operating agricultural machinery and open to working additional hours during peak farming seasons.
They have a robust internal promotion strategy, meaning all their managers have hands-on, grassroots experience.
