Description

Our client is a team of music experts, composers, marketers and data analysts who bring top tier music experiences to the world through digital streaming services.

Based in Banbury with an office soon opening in Central London it is fair to say our clientare steadily expanding and are now looking for a Music Data Administrator to join their growing Marketing team.

This is a varied yet fast paced role which is detail orientated and requires working heavily with data.

It could be a great opportunity for a recentgraduate who has a passion or interest to build a career within the music industry and proactively use their acute eye for detail and data/analytics.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Taking control of managing scheduled releases to various digital platforms, including the creating, managing and optimising of programs to ensure records are hitting high levels of user engagement.
  • Managing various elements relating to the music catalogue such as track titles, product codes, and other associated metadata.
  • Maintenance of internal databases and processes to ensure smooth running of the Music and Production Department.
  • Stay informed of all updates within digital music streaming services and the market in which the company operate within to maximise the catalogues potential and seeking opportunities to expand into new divisions.
  • Carrying out regular checks to ensure the company are not under any trademark or territory disputes.
  • Monitor, report and analyse results to improve the companies performance and make any amendments where possible

Key Skills & Experience:

  • An in depth understanding of digital music platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music & Deezer.
  • Evidence in showing advanced IT skills and Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • A creative and committed individual with a positive, cando attitude working as a part of a team as well as an individual.
  • Proven ability to draw conclusions from large volumes of data and reports.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentational communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise messages to different audiences.

Additional Information:

  • Working hours for this role are Monday
  • Friday, 09:30 17:00.
  • Hybrid Working 2 days office based (Mondays and Fridays) and the rest home based.
