Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Department in the development and implementation of curriculum plans, ensuring alignment with national standards and educational best practices.
Lead and support a team of dedicated educators, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of their student body.
Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning outcomes, implementing interventions where necessary to drive continuous improvement.
Play an active role in the school's pastoral care system, promoting the wellbeing and personal development of all students.
Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and external stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and partnership.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a proven track record of successful teaching and leadership within a secondary school setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and empower colleagues to achieve shared goals.
A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the school community.
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
