Credit Controller - Preston, United Kingdom - Rebus Recruitment Limited
Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining credit limits in the form of weekly balance checking
- Posting and allocation of daily receipts to Sage
- Maintenance of the ledger balance with agreed limit
- Query resolution
- Provide customers with balance information.
- Provide external stakeholders with statements.
- Reporting of any increase requirements to the Credit Control supervisor
- Escalate any potential customer payment issues where necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Will be empathetic with a friendly disposition.
- Experience with Excel and Sage
- Can multitask and prioritise.
- AAT Level 2 or CICM (desirable)
Reporting directly into the Credit Control supervisor within a busy finance department where you will be a trusted and valued member of staff.
