We are recruiting for a Tactical ICT Support Officer to join my police client's teams across London.

Whilst the role is based in Victoria, London, you will be required to travel to different site across Greater London as required.

Role/responsibilities

Providing practical advice & guidance in the use and acquisition of ICT to SO and CTP HQ colleagues.
Assisting officers in the use and configuration of corporate mobility devices such as laptops, tablets, mobile phones, encrypted USB sticks etc. (including support for users on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10)
Assisting officers in the provision and use of Foundation desktop terminals and peripherals.
Advising / assisting officers in video and audio conferencing both local and national police IT systems.
Assisting in the implementation of corporate projects / initiatives.
Assisting, from an ICT perspective, customers in accommodation moves and changes (including scoping studies).
Assisting, from an ICT perspective, customers with procurement activities.
Ensuring that all requests/requirements/jobs are recorded on appropriate Technology Pillar spreadsheets / repositories.
The role holder will be expected to travel round London as a core feature of the job (e.g. Heathrow, London City Airport, HQ buildings and other customer sites).

This is a temporary role, working on a full-time basis for an initial
6 monthswith potential to be extended beyond.

The role has an initial pay rate of
£300 per day Umbrellaafter twelve weeks in the role
.

You will need to hold active NPPV3/SC national vetting clearance to be eligible for this role
