Job Description

As an Associate Cost Manager, you will play a key role in managing medium to large scale projects in the Healthcare and Science sectors. You are expected to lead projects independently, provide guidance to junior staff, and collaborate effectively with clients and project teams.

Lead Cost Management projects, with a focus on healthcare and higher education sectors.
Provide mentorship to junior staff members.
Ensure timely and satisfactory project completion.
Develop strong relationships with clients and project team members.
Act as the main point of contact for AECOM clients.
Oversee training and development of team members.
Manage project deliverables in line with quality standards.
Offer comprehensive Cost Management services to clients.
Supervise and motivate a team of surveyors.
Demonstrate flexibility, creativity, and strong communication skills.
Deliver Cost Management Services with a client-centered approach.

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
Consulting experience in Cost Management services.
Knowledge of contract forms such as JCT and NEC.
Experience in healthcare and higher education sectors.
Ability to provide valuable cost and risk advice.
Proficiency in digital tools for cost planning.
Effective relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
CSCS Card.
