Red Snapper Managed Services (RSMS) are looking to expand the investigation project on a large major incident investigation.

We require a Digital Forensics Investigator (DFI) who has extensive experience of downloading digital material from electronic devicessuch as mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktops.

Having worked in an investigation environment, the ideal person will understand the processes and systems used to extract key data to support investigations and adhere to the best practice and policies setwithin the law enforcement sector.

The main purpose of the role will be to;

  • Presenting evidence as required and providing advice to police officers on forensic computer analysis, in order to assist in the investigation of Data Forensics crime in its entirety and gathering of evidence to support a criminal prosecution.
- the majority of the examinations will be undertaken at the request of the Investigating Officer to provide intelligence and evidence to identify and prosecute offenders and identify witness/victims. A vital part of the role is the integrity and continuityof evidence with subsequent presentation at judicial proceedings.

Experience in using the following digital forensics software systems is essential; Nuix, Cellebrite, Griffeye


It would be advantageous if you have used other systems such as; X-Ways, EnCase, Internet Evidence Finder, Virtual Forensic Computing, Blacklight, Griffeye, Passware, Wireshark and Nmap.
