    Description
    Sales Support Engineer

    The role includes working with other members of the Sales team to increase the sales of Solutions product for the Electric Power market to support the growth of genset sales.

    The candidate will represent Caterpillar in customer meetings, and help maintain strong relationships with dealers, Consulting Engineers, as well as end customers.

    Participate in and contribute to meetings between dealer / customer and Sales personnel to appropriately define technical scope requirements.
    Development of electrical distribution and/or control Bill of Material as required to meet customer specifications (spirit of specification).
    Development of cost build up for electrical distribution and control equipment, as per technical solution offered.
    Provide technical support as required for timeline meetings.

    Update and control of costings for third party synchronising controls systems, motorised breakers, electrical components (Including motor distribution panels, special panel work, etc...) A third level qualification in a relevant Electrical or Electronic Engineering discipline.

    A self-starter, engaged in their professional development.
    Demonstrate the ability to prioritise, plan and deliver workload in collaboration with the Sales team and customers.
    Previous experience in a commercial and/or technical sales role.
    25 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays
    ~ Up to 12% bonus
