Do you have field sales experience within the glass industry?

If so, our client is recruiting a Sales Manager to cover the Midlands and the North of England.


As a supplier of flat glass our client distributes a wide range of float and rolled flat glass products to an established customer base, comprising of major window companies, glass fabricators and processors throughout the UK.


The Sales Manager's primary role is to positively manage the company's relationships with its existing customers, ensuring the continuity but also, wherever possible, the growth of sales.

You will need exceptional interpersonal/nurturing skills, with theability to relate to and communicate with a wide variety of people at different levels within a business, from shop floor to boardroom.

You will also identify new customers and sales opportunities, driving profitable sales for the company.


The Sales Manager's role is 'home based' and very largely autonomous and so requires a fully committed professional salesperson, prepared, within reason, to "go the extra distance".

The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. but flexibility will be required. Due to geography, there may also be occasions when an overnight stay, away from home, will be necessary.


Salary will be up to £45,000 per annum, dependant on experience, with an on-target annual bonus of up to 25% of annual salary.

A fully expensed company car will be provided as will a laptop computer, mobile smart phone and credit card for company expenses.

Annual leave will be 25 days plus statutory holidays.
