Project Manager, Decarbonisation - Housing Project

12 Month FTC, opportunity to go permanent

Hybrid Working; Canary Wharf


Salary:
£60,000 - £65,000


Mission:
To provide and administrate finance which encourages green investment and supports the Government's net-zero and clean growth goals

  • If you are passionate about decarbonisation projects and helping the government achieve Net Zero targets, this is an excellent opportunity to play a crucial role._
  • As this is a Senior Management Role, we seek experience managing successful programmes, ideally in a public sector setting._

Role Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage the onboarding of delivery partners
  • Manage and support two Project Managers (focusing on lowincome housing and social housing)
  • Stakeholder management; including Whitehall stakeholders/specialist communications staff
  • Monitoring and reporting progress against milestones

Role Requirements:

  • Exceptional knowledge of programme and project management methods and principles, ideally with experience in setting up/overseeing a PMO
  • Experience working within the Public Sector
  • Experience with large change management projects
  • Planning / overseeing the planning of programme communications and engagement, working with communications specialists
  • Experience building out Target Operating Models
