We are looking for a Programme Manager on a permanent based in the South Somerset area with strong knowledge of electronic systems in the Aerospace and Defence industry.

Qualified in Project Management or equivalent industry
Competent in use of MS project or other project management tools
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers
Produce programme schedule through MS project understanding technical requirements

Work with the Production Manager to allocate build resource to the project in a timely manner and ensure that products are ready for factory testing on time.

Communicate directly with technical experts in various engineering fields – mechanical, electrical, and software.
Arrange various project reviews during project lifecycle.
Manage and mitigate risks through project lifecycle.
Be the customer liaison, reporting on project status, schedule, and risks. Occasional international and domestic travel for project reviews on customer sites.
