£35,675.99 plus bonus (OTE £41, and Veolia benefits


Hours:12 hour night shifts

Week 1 Monday - Thursday 8pm - 8am

Week 2 Tuesday - Friday 8pm - 8am

And if you're qualified with a Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, this role will suit you perfectly.


What will you be doing?

  • Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures are followed
  • Complete nightly engineering checks such as, Firewatch checks, Guard checks, Machine checks, Emergency stops
  • Complete PPMs on systems and machines (conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, motors)
  • Complete work orders / requests
  • Reactive to breakdowns
  • Report defects
  • Ensure handover completed start/end of each shift
  • Looking for Process Improvements to reduce downtime on Process / Plant

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is essential
  • Experience gained working with conveyors is highly desirable
  • Computer literate
  • Self starter and team player
