    Description

    Our Client, leading placement agent in the alternative investment space, with a focus on facilating capital raising for mid-market private equity and private debt funds, are currently seeking an experienced Vice President with a strong background in M&A to join their esteemed placement agent firm headquartered in London.

    Specializing in mid-market private equity and private debt fund placement for fund managers, they offer a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and drive success in fundraising initiatives across diverse sectors and geographies.


    Key responsibilities:
    Cultivating and maintaining relationships with fund managers, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders.
    Leading the end-to-end fundraising process, from deal origination to closing, including due diligence, marketing, and negotiation.
    Developing marketing materials and investment memoranda to effectively communicate fund strategies and investment opportunities.
    Conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential investors and fundraising opportunities.
    Providing strategic guidance and support to fund managers throughout the fundraising process, including investor targeting and positioning.
    Collaborating closely with internal teams, including senior management and marketing professionals, to drive successful fundraising outcomes.


    Requirements:
    ~ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    ~8+ years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or related fields, with a proven track record of executing complex transactions.
    ~ Deep understanding of the private equity and/or private debt industry, with experience in fundraising and investor relations preferred.
    ~ Established network of relationships with institutional investors, fund managers, and other industry stakeholders.
    ~ Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and conduct due diligence.
    ~ Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex investment strategies and concepts.
    ~ Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously.
    ~ Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
