Management Accountant - 6 month FTC

Location:
Blackburn, flexible working, 1:30 finish on a Friday


Salary:
dependent on experience


Our exclusive client, a global, PE backed, manufacturing business based in the heart of Blackburn is looking for an experiences, interim Management Accountant to join their growing Finance team.

This role has arisen due to an internal promotion and a very busytime in the business.

Role:

  • Produce monthly Management Accounts
  • Full monthly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Responsibility for AR and AP ledgers
  • Month end consolidation into Group
  • Overseeing Supplier payments
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Journal postings including but not limited to, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Accruals, Prepayments.
  • Maintain processes that deal with all financial transactions effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage the annual Audit process
  • Liaise with tax authorities and advisors, banks & legal advisors.
  • Coordinate annual budget, rolling forecast & any other financial plans.
  • Ensure transparency of spending and that budgetary controls work effectively.

For this role you must be:

  • Immediately available and be able to hit the ground running
  • Confident advanced excel user
  • Proficient and confident
