    Description
    London Permanent £70,000 - £85,000 per year

    The review and negotiation of licence agreements, sponsorship contracts and other commercial contracts for the UK and internationally.
    Ensuring consumer facing materials are compliant with relevant laws
    Legal know-how: helping to keep the business and the legal team up to date on relevant legislation; legal research; Organisation and risk management: taking the lead in maintaining our internal contract management database; working to identify and mitigate risk within our contracts and processes;
    The provision of a legal advisory function to the organisation
    Suitable candidates for the role of Legal Counsel will have the following experience and qualifications:
    Excellent private practice experience, highly skilled at contract negotiation and contract drafting
    Significant post qualification experience of contract negotiation,
    Excellent knowledge and understanding of contract / commercial Law, and legal research skills
    Good knowledge and understanding of corporate law, competition law, data protection law, marketing and sponsorship
    Knowledge of US commercial law and contractual interpretation would be highly desirable.
