    Description

    Are you the right person, to make sure the future of food processing equipment is in good hands?

    As our new Assembly Mechanic for our production facility in Colchester, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing & integration of our innovative food processing equipment.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Assemble mechanical components and subsystems according to engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly procedures.
    • Perform quality checks on assembled parts to ensure they meet Marel's standards and specifications.
    • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and propose solutions for improvements.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
    • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
    • Document assembly processes, including any modifications or adjustments made during the assembly process, to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Time served appropriate apprenticeship and/or relevant experience. Full training will be provided
