Consulting on inventive comms systems for defence/security projectsA well-respected specialist technical consultancy in Surrey offers an interesting challenge to skilled Senior Hardware Engineers with good skills in VHDL and PCB design.
Working on the cutting edge of innovation for communications systems, Senior Hardware Engineers will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art PCBs.
They will be using high speed network interfaces, FPGAs and SoCs, and will be comfortable using VHDL to model and implement algorithms for image and signal processing.
It will also include managing layout and fabrication, capturing schematics with OrCAD, and writing test firmware and software.As our client is a consultancy, excellent communications skills are expected, and as a senior member of the team, mentoring less experienced engineers will also be a part of the role.
This group likes to encourage their engineers to work on their own initiative and take on responsibility for major projects quickly, offering them a compelling and stimulating working environment.
