GCSEs or eqivalent (compusory) A Levels, Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, HLTA all desireable.

Job Duties:

The Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teachers to support the educational and social development of students.

Duties include assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students, helping with lesson planning, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates should have a minimum of GCSEs and A Levels, along with qualifications such as Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, or HLTA.

Strong English and Maths skills are essential.

Education:

Applicants must have completed relevant education and training programmes, such as teaching assistant courses or similar qualifications.

Experience:

Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential. Training will be provided to successful candidates.

Knowledge and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to show initiative, and proficiency in English and Maths. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also important.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) or related fields would be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis.

The Learning Support Assistant will work within a school environment, collaborating with teachers and students to provide support and enhance learning outcomes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
