    Avara Foods is one of the UK's leading food businesses, supplying chicken and turkey to the country's major supermarkets and well-known restaurants.

    Our advanced manufacturing site in Wednesbury, West Midlands, is our newest advanced manufacturing site, and we've invested around £4.7 million into state-of-the-art facilities.

    Our Wednesbury site is a flagship Added Value centre for Avara, which employ over 150 talented individuals at the site, who help to supply some of the UK's largest supermarkets and popular restaurants

    Are you passionate about Planning? As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to investing in our Production across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Scheduler to join our Team, based at our Wednesburysite.

    The role is factory and office based, so you'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

    As a Production Coordinator you'll be working Monday to Friday 16:30 - 01:00

    As a Scheduler you'll take part in the Scheduling of the production lines and the materials required for product assembly.

    You will Operate in a fast moving, high volume, and frequently changing environment where there is significant amount of incoming data from various sources which requires the ability to analyse, process, make decisions and communicate effectively.

    Pivotal interface between planning (supply management) and production to ensure on time delivery of customer orders.
    Key support to production management on daily operational deliverance.
    Optimise and balance production lines for best efficiency.
    Commercial focus on minimising waste and optimising raw material usage.

    Continual tracking of actual performance data against plan to ensure corrections can be made to keep on course for planned attainment, and to use this data to continuously improve personal and functional performance.

    High standard of IT skills and advanced excel knowledge.
