LVCT Meter Engineers required for Carlisle, Inverness, Yorkshire and Reading
Join our metering team, where you'll play a vital role in executing metering tasks, especially those with a high level of technical complexity.
Your primary goal will be to meet targets for time, cost, and quality while addressing both business and customer service needs.
Providing crucial technical support to the team will also be a key aspect of your role.nKey Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
nInstallation and Maintenance:
Install, maintain, remove, and replace various LV metering and communication equipment, ensuring adherence to procedures
nTesting and Validation:
Conduct thorough testing and validation of all LV metering equipment, following established protocols
nOperation and Compliance:
Operate the LV system for metering activities and ensure compliance with relevant protocols
nInspections and Investigations:
Perform intricate tests, inspections, and remote testing of metering equipment. Investigate and resolve high consumption complaints promptly.
nTechnical Support:
Address dangerous occurrences promptly and resolve customer queries, providing essential technical support
nCollaboration and Mentorship:
Work on nonstandard equipment and coach and mentor colleagues, offering guidance for task completion
nQualifications and Skills:
nThe ideal candidate will be authorised to install single and three-phase metering installations, with CT metering experience.
Exceptional customer service skills, a commitment to meeting time, cost, and quality targets, proficiency in IT, and a clean driving license are essential.
nRequirements:
nAuthorised and experienced in single and three-phase meter installation.nLVCT metering installation experience, with familiarity with Half Hourly, AMR, and SMETS metering considered advantageous.nWillingness to occasionally travel and work away from home.nProficiency in IEE wiring regulations.nIf you're looking for a dynamic role within an innovative organisation that values technical expertise, this opportunity is perfect for you.
