We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Design and Technology to join our thriving Design and Technology department and provide high quality teaching. The successful applicant will have a clear vision for the faculty and the strategic leadership skills to deliver improvements. You will be an outstanding practitioner who has the vision, energy and drive to further improve standards of achievement and ensure teaching is of the highest across all key stages.
The Highfield School is an ambitious 11-18 comprehensive school, where all are encouraged to achieve their full potential. We have an excellent reputation both academically and pastorally and we firmly believe that all our students are entitled to a curriculum that is innovative, relevant and accessible for all. Whilst there is a great emphasis on English, maths, science, humanities and languages, this is balanced by a promotion of, and dedication to, the arts and creativity both in our taught and wider curricular offer.
