Description

Fruit Towers - London- General Managementinnocent started with a simple mission: to make drinks that make it easy to do yourself some good.

In 1999 we concocted a few smoothies in our kitchen and tested them on people at a music festival; today we're blending every type of fruit & veg under the sun and selling drinks right across Europe.

We have great ambitions:

to show the world that you can build a successful business that cares about more than just profit, and to leave things better than we find them.

We're proud to call ourselves Europe's favourite little healthy drinks company, but we're still growing.

And that means we need more brilliant people who share our ambition, to join in with the next, most exciting, part of our story.

- what you'll be doing

  • Over the last 3 years, we've built our first own shiny factory (the blender) and have installed an ERP system to replace many of the previous tools we used to run our business more efficiently.

Both of these strategic projects are still in their early life cycle, and we continue to work on them to achieve maturity and become as efficient and effective as possible.

There are some other important projects that we are looking to deliver next, ranging from manufacturing effectiveness to introducing new product ranges with many other ideas we are looking to progress.

We already have project teams sitting in different parts of the business to deliver our projects and on top of that are now looking to establish a program management office for the next 12 months to:

  • Ensure that the projects we are running have a direct link to the delivery of our scorecard and strategic ambitions, with recommendations as to which projects should be in 'stop, start, continue'
  • Aligning the relevant teams to ensure we have focus, and delivery capacity across the business allocated to these priority projects
  • Ensure that the projects follow the methodology we use at innocent to run effectively to achieve the desired outcomes faster
  • Monitor and identify any critical or severe risks to project delivery and recommend ways to resolve them
  • Ensure that financial tracking is in place (over or under spend)
  • Make sure that projects are on target to achieve the business case objectives
  • Mentor project sponsors and project managers to help get projects back on track
  • As key projects reach a healthy state, recommend which projects are next able to be delivered.
  • Recommend how best to run programme management at innocent beyond the initial 12 months
  • This role will report into the COO, and likely have 2 other innocent employees to support the work that needs to be done. The key project managers in manufacturing, supply, technology, and marketing will have a dotted line into this role.

We have very recently set up a 'change forum' to manage the prioritisation of cross-functional projects across the business and this role will chair this forum and provide updates to a steering group of our supply chain director, CMO, CIO, chief people officer, and COO.

- you'll have

  • Strong project & programme management expertise, ideally within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in risk management to drive scenario planning and smart risk taking.
  • Matrix leadership experience to ensure we have clear accountability on decision making and delivery so that quality & timely decisions are being made.
  • Be energetic and create a sense of urgency, fostering a mindset of 'how can we deliver this as effectively as possible'.
  • Strong emotional & organisational intelligence to understand how the company and the different teams work within it, to best understand how to get things done, and how to optimise the critical path across the various projects.
  • The ability to work in partnership with the different teams to build alignment and delivery whilst also providing mentoring.
  • You will help us to keep doing business the right way keeping innocent one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work, using our B Corp status to inspire wider change, and reinforcing our culture of staying little as we grow big. At innocent, it's the relationships and friendships we create while working together, that make us who we are. It's why we love hybrid working a mix of connecting in person and remotely. We're also aware that the world is changing, and we all want and need different things from our work and home lives. So, if you need to walk the dog, go to the gym, or have commitments outside of work, we're open to talking through flexible working options that work for you and us.
  • In return for everything you can bring, we can offer you an exciting, challenging role in a fastgrowing and dynamic business, with plenty of career opportunities in the UK and across Europe as well as a competitive rewards package. We also have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at. Take a look at our reward page for more details.
