Description
We are recruiting aHR Advisor on behalf of our valued client based near the East Midlands airport.
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide support and advice on employee relations, terms of employment, policies and procedures to managers and work with them to ensure that best practice is adopted.
- Provide support with disciplinaries and grievance, welfare, absences and capability meetings.
- Deliver HR induction programmes for new starters and ensure probation reviews are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that recruitment and selection activity is conducted in accordance with good equal opportunities and diversity principles and in accordance with other legislation, including all seniority levelled positions.
- Work closely with agencies to manage onsite staff as appropriate.
- Preparation of monthly payroll instructions for the business & collate data relating to annual pay review.
- Ensure that GDPR compliance is met at all times
The Person
- Experience of working in an advisory capacity in a HR department with generalist HR skills
- Familiar with payroll processes alongside experience within the recruitment process.
- Awareness of GDPR in a HR context.
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Good organisation & attention to detail skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office
- Ability to demonstrate an up to date knowledge of employment law
- Level 5 CIPD (Not essential)
