    The Role

    As part of Envitia exciting growth plans, we are now looking for a C++ Software Engineer, who can take ownership of the test framework for an internal C++-based product, to join our Engineering Team.

    In partnership with the Product Owner, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction and future commercial success of Envitia's application. You'll be a key member of a product team, contributing to developing the product in line with the roadmap and with an additional responsibility of owning and leading the development of the automated test framework and maturing the CI/CD pipeline.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, write and test code, refining and rewriting it as necessary, supporting and collaborating with other developers involved in the project.
    • Contribute to the technical development of a core Envitia application using Agile development methodology.
    • Provide accurate and timely progress updates to the Project Manager.
    • Participate in internal and external Quality Assurance audits as required.
    • Provide input to continuously improve technical processes or practices, based on practical day to day experiences.
    • Ability to analyse user requirements and translate those into user stories.
    • Own and lead the development of the automated test framework and the CI/CD pipeline.
    • Resolving test issues and reinforcing test framework.

    Key Skills

    • Adaptable, ability to pick up new technologies and learn quickly.
    • Competent with DevOps, Jenkins, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Comfortable with OpenGL (for OpenGL testing).
    • Competency with C# and Python3.
    • Experience of Azure and AWS Technologies, cloud infrastructure, Linux and Windows OS, including integration.
    • An appreciation of the Software Developer in Test (SDET) role and how to build an automated test framework.

    Security Clearance Requirements

    The successful candidate will be required to go through an SC security clearance.

    Location

    The role will be required to be in our Horsham offices 2 days a month as well travel required to clients sites when required.
