£15,600 - £20,800, part time hours, 25 hours per week, HG1, Harrogate town centre, hours can be flexible.


We are currently recruiting a Part Time Bookkeeper for this interesting and varied role within a firm of Accountants in Harrogate town centre.

This role would incorporate Reception duties, Office Administration and Bookkeeping duties for a number of clients.


Responsibilities:

Reception duties - both over the telephone and face to face with clients
Meeting, greeting and making drinks for clients
Managing incoming and outgoing mail
Scanning and sending documents
Client mail shots
General office administration including filing and archiving
processing client records
Bookkeeping duties up to trial balance for a number of clients
Processing accounts in Xero, Sage and Quickbooks


Requirements:

Good working knowledge of MS Office
AAT, ACA, ACCA, IAB or Equivalent qualifications preferred
Qualified by experience
Previous bookkeeping experience
Experience using Sage, Xero or Quickbooks

You will work for a reputable accountancy firm in Harrogate town centre, working alongside a small friendly team.

This role would suit someone who has previously worked as Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or Accounts Administrator and has a good understanding of bookkeeping.

Experience as a Receptionist, Secretary or Administrator would also be helpful as this is a varied role.

This role may fit around school hours or other commitments and the salary would depend upon previous experience.
