At GIG Retail, we provide expert retail strategy to a range of high-profile clients.

We help to drive brand and retailer sales by creating, delivering and evaluating customer-focused campaigns, across a host of retail-focused marketing and sales activity.

We are currently looking for a talented individual to join the team as an
Account Manager.

This a brilliant opportunity for someone with previous industry experience in retail, sales and/or media planning.


You will maintain current brand partnerships between our client, a major supermarket chain, and the supplier to deliver outstanding client service and exclusive cross-channel media plans that exceed expectations.


As Account Manager you will:


  • Build and own relationships with midlevel category & supplier contacts on a day to day basis.
  • Work with the Account Director / SAM and build strong relationships with counterparts in Business Development, Insight and Campaign Management teams to deliver a brilliant endtoend experience for our client
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of our client as a total business, enabling the delivery of innovative, strategic, ambitious and commercial plans.
  • Use historic campaign performance and robust media planning processes to deliver successful marketing campaigns, challenging briefs where required.
  • Update forecasts, flagging risks and tracking progress to the Senior Account Manager
  • Take ownership of a JMP target under £8m and deputise for Senior Account Manager when required

Skills and Experience:


  • Relevant industry experience, within retail, sales and/or media planning
  • Ability to create effective crosschannel planes to deliver results and client satisfaction
  • Effective relationshipbuilding skills
