    Due to exciting growth within the Auriga Academy trust an exciting new opportunity has arisen to work as specialist OT alongside our multidisciplinary team of experienced Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language therapists and specialist teachers.

    The Auriga Academy Trust is comprised of 3 high achieving specialist schools catering to children with Special Educational Needs in the London Borough of Richmond.

    This role would be across two of those schools:


    • Clarendon School- an outstanding special academy catering for children aged 4-16 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs including Autism.
    • Strathmore School-is a thriving, oversubscribed and growing special school for children and young people aged 4 -19 with severe and complex learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities.

    We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and highly flexible candidates who have the ability to work collaboratively and actively contribute to shaping the growing therapy service to join us either on a part time or full time basis.

    Full time vacancy: 37.5 hours over 42 weeks, NHS Band 6, £39,217 pa actual
    Part time vacancy: 22.5 hours over 42 weeks, NHS Band 6, £23,530 pa actual
    Supporting pupils to develop life and learning skills

    • Helping to develop the OT curriculum in collaboration with senior therapists
    • Designing resources to support the environment in school and at home
    • Directing and guiding therapy assistants
    • Working within the classroom to upskill all staff in therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs of the pupils.
    • Undertaking specialist assessment and the writing of Annual Reviews or EHC plans as needed
