Salary £32,000 - £36,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Basic 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday

26 days holiday pro-rata plus Bank Holidays

Defined Benefit Pension Scheme with c. 18.5% employer contributions (and 3 x salary life cover)

The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our busy HR team.


Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide generalist HR guidance and support to the team at our Head Office.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day case management providing advice to managers on discipline, grievance, performance and change management.
  • Support and guidance of the HR team, monitor workload and coordinate resources to ensure objectives are met.
  • Deputise for the HR Manager when required.
  • Provide interview, selection and onboarding expertise to the management team.
  • Supporting the management team with sickness/absence processes.
  • Manage all administration elements of the employee life cycle.
  • Working closely with managers across the business assisting them to understand policies and procedures and employment legislation.
  • Identify and recognise ways to continuously improve HR processes and procedures.

Skills/Experience

  • Experience of working at a HR Advisor level or above is essential.
  • Significant experience of advising on disciplinary, sickness absence, capability and grievance matters and meetings.
  • Experience of managing multidisciplined teams on a range of complex employee matters.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified.
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and competing priorities.
  • Confident approach with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and drive for accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Highly motivated selfstarter.

Schedule:
