Sales Executive

circa £25,000 to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience, plus commission

What you'll be doing


You'll work as part of key revenue generating, target orientated team, as well as part of a project team working with Product Managers in our knowledge services and solutions (KS&S) team.

You role will be to work with colleagues to identify customer needsin academia, practitioner, industry and corporate markets; building solutions to meet those needs.

These solutions include services throughout the portfolio comprising of print and digital academic books, databases, journals, events, webinars, advertising,journalistic pieces ("advertorials"), sponsorship and digital on-line learning.


What we hope you can bring to the role


You'll be motivated and bring your sales experience and strong understanding of sales cycles, with a proven track record in achieving targets and KPI's.

Sales experience in a B2B context is essential, whilst knowledge of the engineering and technology sectorand related process would be advantageous.

  • Tosell marketing solutions, advertising and event sponsorship solutions to new and existing clients within allocated territory
  • Implement business plansontime,onbudget, tomeet targetsandwithfull reporting on targeted KPI's
  • Toliaise with otherdepartments within theIET to develop product offering seeking crossmarketing opportunities
