- Lead and manage the care home team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of residents with mental health conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including those set by regulatory bodies.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment for residents, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans as necessary.
- Manage the care home budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet the needs of residents.
- Proven experience in a management role within a mental health care setting, within a residential care home environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of mental health conditions and their impact on individuals, along with a commitment to providing person-centered care.
