    Description

    Our client, a brilliant metals & energy commodities business is seeking to hire a candidate for this newly created department within the business.

    They have identified a need for a third-party risk manager, to lead on the remediation activity relating to Procurement and Supplier management, as part of the company's Global Strategic Operational Resilience Road Map.

    The Third Party Risk Manager role is for a professional with subject matter expertise dedicated to actively employ and strengthen the components of the company's operational resilience framework relating to third party risks.

    At all times adhere to the Conduct Rules as set out in the Senior Manager & Certification Regime (SMCR).
    § Review the company's central list of third parties and undertake a gap analysis to assess compliance against UK and EBA regulatory requirements and report findings to ORC with a plan to address.
    § Identify, monitor analysis, and challenge operational risks for third parties including but not limited to vendors, inter-affiliate service provision and other third party partnerships.
    § Lead the implementation of the framework and provide training to support the adherence to the requirements of the operating standards, offering expert analysis and guidance.
    § Ensure appropriate capture, monitoring and reporting of Third-Party Risks and provide insights, and expert judgement on our third-party risk exposures against regulation and provide advice on material risk management decisions.
    § Provide data driven reporting and analysis to management and Operational Resilience Committee.
    § Work with business stakeholders to develop Exit & Business Continuity Plans for Material Third Parties.
    § Establish and maintain the qualitative/quantitative implementation of KPI/KRI's.
    § Create severe but plausible scenarios by working with service owners / SMEs and perform them with our key third parties to ensure their responses align to our IBS impact tolerances.

    Minimum of 6 years' experience in third-party risk management roles.
    § Practical experience in the development of TPRM framework and implementation.
    § Ability to address risks using standardised and consistent methodologies.
    § Strong organisational skills (project management skills a plus).
    § Pragmatic and flexible approach.
