Position Overview
Deluxe Media Audio is seeking a Junior Audio Editor to undertake a variety of duties based in our Audio department.
Primary Responsibilities Become a part of the audio department along with other Editorial members of the team. Assist the Audio Operations Manager on a daily basis and be aware of all materials needing to be delivered from the facility via various digital platforms. Provide support to all the mix theatres & edit suites, and make sure that all audio materials are made available in a timely manner for the allocated work schedule. Principle audio editorial duties include tracklay, clean up & sync of dialogues for mix. Full technical QC of material before it is despatched to clients. Assisting with the daytoday running of the Data Operations department & general file management duties. Help maintain and update key documentation such project trackers, QC sheets, editorial training documents, ingest & etc. Archive requested audio material. Adhoc runner duties when needed for onsite clients. Preferable experience and skills include:
- A keen passion for audio & film. An interest of post
- production sound technology & workflows advantageous.
