    Our client is a leading innovator in the development of powertrain solutions for electric vehicle applications.

    With a commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge technology, they are dedicated to revolutionizing the automotive industry through their advanced drivetrain solutions.

    As a Battery Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of battery packs tailored for electric vehicle applications.

    You will be responsible for the seamless electrical integration of the battery management system and the development of accompanying software to meet the specific configuration and application requirements.

    This role will involve working across the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to post-delivery support.


    Responsibilities:


    Electrical integration of battery management systemDesign and development of battery management software and development of functions to meet application requirements.

    Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirementsConducting function and performance tests, including regulatory validationDeveloping processes and equipment for battery pack build and commissioningProviding post-delivery support and investigating faults

    Required Skills:

    Degree in an engineering disciplineProficiency in electrical schematic designKnowledge of battery management system functions for automotive applicationsFamiliarity with UN ECE Regulation No.

    100Understanding of battery thermal management systemsExperience with battery pack test equipmentAbility to analyze battery system data for performance validationDesirable Skills:

    Proficiency in CAN analysis tools such as Vector CANalyzer, Kvaser CANKing, and Peak-Systems PCAN-ViewExperience with functional safety management (e.g., ISO 26262)Familiarity with Git source-control managementStrong technical documentation skillsIf you are a passionate Battery Systems Engineer enthusiastic about driving innovation in the electric vehicle industry and possess the required skills and qualifications, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
