Due to the challenging nature of highly technical projects, this role requires an autonomous, self-starter with the ability to lead from the front.

The successful applicant will be an effective communicator with a flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of working effectively in a team environment.

Core Role and Responsibilities The Electrical Engineer's core duties shall include:

Responsibility for the development and implementation of safe, electrical working practices in accordance with recognised industry standards and approved codes of practice including Risk assessmentCo-ordination, control and safe management of external contractorsPreparation of HV/LV concept design specifications from external HV to internal LV distribution to process equipment point of connectionRenewable energy, Battery storage (BESS), Private Wire and Microgrid solutionsDevelop, control, and ensure delivery against the project budgets including profit, preliminaries and procurements.

Implement detailed programmes and schedules which allow accurate monitoring and reporting of progressSecure and manage the appropriate resources to deliver the project / scheme effectively and efficiently in a professional manner to ensure successful delivery within project constraints.

Implement and manage the development of the Project Quality Plan, Trade Quality Plans, and Defect rectification proceduresEnsure there is a successful and smooth handover of the project, including support to customer/ end user throughout the handover processEssential Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentMinimum 5 years' experience in a relevant Electrical roleroleKnowledge and experience of DSEAR / ATEX / HAZOP / COMAH preferredStrong PC skills including MS applications, MS Project and AutoCadStrong problem-solving, analytical and presentation skillsDesirable Requirements (not mandatory) 18th Edition Wiring RegulationsClean Room / Dry Room Production environment experienceUK Driving licence
