- Booking all deliveries from theGoods In area and entering all information into the companiessystems.
- Printing all relevant labels as part of thebooking process.
- Inspect the condition of goods andreport damaged goods to the Packaging Manager.
- Checkquantities of goods received against delivery notes and purchaseorders and immediately report discrepancies to the relevantdepartment lead.
- Move Quality Controlled approvedmaterials and store them in the correct storage areas.
- Move goods around the warehouse into/out of rackingareas.
- Move pallets as required depending on spaceconstraints.
- Organise the warehouse and other storageareas.
- Assist with the loading and unloading ofvehicles (during deliveries and despatches)
- Assist withthe preparation of consignments and outbound shipping, asrequired.
- Pick components for issue to assembly, asrequired.
- Assist with periodic stock checks and annualstocktake.
- Work in a safe, orderly manner taking intoaccount the safety of others and following company health andsafety policy and procedures.
- Work following theProcedures Manual and general company procedures and WorkInstructions.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean andtidy condition.
- Inform Management of any ideas forpotential improvement in safety, training, procedures, products,etc.
- Experience within a Goods In orWarehouse role ideal.
- Good IT Skills.
- Forklift licence is desirable but notessential.

Our client, a rapidly expandingmanufacturer with an excellent reputation for high-quality goods,is looking to recruit a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join theirteam permanently.
The Goods In WarehouseOperative will be responsible for managing all incoming goods intothe site's stores, including quality checking the products, as wellas assisting the Dispatch Supervisor with the day-to-day duties ofdispatch.
In addition to this, you will be required to assist withother warehouse/operations duties as needed and instructed by thePackaging Manager.
