    Description

    Step Into Teaching are working with a wonderful primary school in Addlestone who are looking for a Graduate with a passion to inspire children and help them by supporting across KS1 & KS2 with children of all abilities and join their team ASAP for the academic year.

    This is an ideal opportunity for any graduate who is interested in starting a career in teaching/education. This is your chance to experience the craft of the classroom before committing to a teacher training programme in the future.

    The Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity:

    • Primary school based in Addlestone
    • Full time – Monday – Friday
    • Starting ASAP - July 2024
    • £450-£480per week - term time only
    • Your chance to gain real classroom experience

    The Primary Teaching Assistant must:

    • Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
    • Experience working with children or young adults (desired)
    • Be able to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
    • The ability to assist in evaluating individual pupils needs and progress
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Have the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of individual students
    • The ideal candidate may have some experience working across different age groups whether it be in an educational setting or otherwise.
