Employment CILEx - Bristol
Excellent opportunity for an employment CILEx to join a leading national law firm with a strong reputation for its employment work.
You will run a caseload of legal expense insurer files as well as assisting with non-contentious work from time to time. There will also be scope for supervision of junior case handlers.
This role would be based in either Bristol or Leeds, with a combination of home and office working (typically working 2 days in the Bristol or Leeds city centre office and 3 days from home).
Duties/Responsibilities:Advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims;Running a case load of Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings, drafting witness statements, negotiating settlements and advising on settlement agreements, and instructing counsel or advocates as necessary;Complying with insurer service level agreements;Supporting the employment team with non-contentious work, including provision of contractual documentation, handbooks and other employment documentation, together with provision of reactive and proactive employment advice to commercial clients, including telephone advice;Participating in marketing initiatives, including writing updates on employment law and providing training sessions to clients;Ensuring accurate advice is given to clients;
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified CILEx with relevant experience and a passion for employment law and for providing commercial and practical solutions.
