Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare and together with our research partner, the UCL Institute of Child Health, we form the UK's only academic biomedical research centre specialising in paediatrics.

This exciting opportunity to provide maternity leave cover for the Head of Planning & Strategy.

Reporting directly to the Trust Chief Operating Officer, the post holder will be responsible for leading on all aspects of healthcare planning including business planning, single oversight framework and other appropriate guidance ensuring that it is completed with the necessary engagement from the operational teams and the wider organisation.

This will require the postholder to work closely with a wide range of staff members across the Trust, the charity and external organisations.

In addition, the postholder will co-ordinate the work related to the strategic objectives for the Trust, to ensure engagement from all parties.
