Description
Our client in the Salford area are looking for a part time caretaker for an estate that consists of two 11 storey blocks containing 165 apartments and 67 houses.
The blocks have gated access, parking, cctv & lifts.Work Pattern: 20 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, hours to be arranged.
Ensure continuity of building and use of the grounds for residents and community purposes.
Cleaning the Building:
Building Inspections:
Regularly inspecting the building, including heating, cooling, lighting, cctv, alarm and access systems, to ensure they are in good working order and use energy efficiently.
Routine Maintenance:
Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
They would be required to carry out handy man repairs such as small joinery and small plasterwork. Along with painting and decorating skills as needed.
Contractor Supervision:
Sourcing, booking, and supervising contractors for major repairs and clean up following the work.
Inventory Management:
Monitoring cleaning materials, tools, furniture, and reordering supplies as necessary.
Complete checklist of site, ensuring fire exits are clear, rubbish removed, lighting/fire doors all in good working order.
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to the Managing Agents safety policies to create a safe working environment for everyone.
