Requirements for the role:

• Background in Electrical work or relevant qualifications
• Completion of an Apprenticeship (NVQ, City & Guilds)
• Experience in FMCG, particularly with automated machinery

As the Engineering Shift Team Leader, you will collaborate with the Department Manager, serving as the primary contact during shifts to address electrical and mechanical issues that engineers can't resolve.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising, training, and mentoring staff through hands-on guidance
• Repairing, diagnosing, and testing electrical and mechanical plant equipment
• Assisting with administrative tasks and documentation
• Mentoring Apprenticeship candidates when necessary
• Acting as a substitute for the Engineering Manager when needed
• Responding to equipment breakdowns on a rotational basis
