Description

Serra and Speller are a property maintenance and construction company based in London. Our work is focused within the M25 and Home Counties, with Headquarters in TW17.

We are currently recruiting for a reliable delivery driver who is also able to step in as a labourer when required.

(all pay via CIS)

Responsibilities:

Collect and deliver items to various sites (including loading and unloading of goods)
Assist in cleaning up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material
Assist carpenters, painters or other tradespeople onsite
Handle and transport materials (e.g. cement) and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders)
Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods)
Put up warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions

Requirements:

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
Punctual & reliable
CSCS Card
Good handeye coordination
Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
Communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety rules
MUST be able to provide 5 years FULL working history
MUST have full clean UK driving licence
Experience working at Heathrow an advantage
Must supply own PPE
