- Over 15 years of experience in Natural Resources and infrastructure sectors, with a focus on Energy (renewables, oil, gas, electric, LNG) and strong Project Finance knowledge.
- 8+ years of managerial experience leading teams of three or more.
- 2LOD experience with a demonstrated track record of exercising delegated approval authority is highly preferred.
- Broad knowledge of risks impacting the Energy sector, particularly renewables, and infrastructure, with specific expertise in credit risk management.
- Strong understanding of the US Market and regulatory practices.
- Solid analytical and judgment skills, proven in understanding complex transactions/processes.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and capacity to work autonomously.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Effective collaboration skills across risk division/regions and with partners such as business lines, legal, and compliance teams.

Position Overview:
In this role, you will lead the Natural Resources, Utilities, and Infrastructure (EUI) team, overseeing recruitment, training, and day-to-day management of a team of three. Your key responsibilities include ensuring meticulous assessment, measurement, and management of credit risks within the EUI team, contributing to shaping the Bank's credit policy guidelines, and actively participating in projects for enhanced governance and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with the business and fostering a robust partnership are integral aspects of this position.
Profile:
As part of the Risk Management Department, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the sustainable growth of the bank through expertise in risk understanding and management techniques. The department's mission involves independent analysis, assessment, and monitoring of risk-taking activities to achieve the best possible outcome for the bank, working collaboratively with the first line-of-defense. Oversight includes enterprise, strategic, credit, market, liquidity, operational, model, and other risks within corporate and investment banking.
You will oversee the management of credit related to corporates, financial institutions, and sovereign counterparties, as well as country risk. Your responsibilities encompass setting specific credit policies in collaboration with General Management, business lines, and other Risk divisions. As the team head, you will be responsible for overseeing all credit risks within the Natural Resources and Infrastructure scope, actively participating in setting the risk appetite and adhering to appropriate standards for credit risk approval and management.
