- Assist with the implementation of Safe Systems of Work including Low Voltage procedures and Impressed Voltage procedures
- Set others to work and monitor throughout the task / project
- Responsible for the recruitment, development, training, and retention of staff.
- Responsible for conducting performance evaluations for department staff.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department.
- Responsible for interpreting the organization's policies, purposes, and goals to staff.
- Responsible for overall QA/QC process adherence.
- Enforce compliance with company and site safety policies.
- Responsible for diversity initiatives.

- General Certificate of Secondary Education applicable years of exp in lieu of degree 8 years experience in the T&D industry in an M&E role, preferably on National Grid sites Required
- Full UK driving licence
- Nation Grid Competent Person NSI 6 & 8 Full
- IOSHH Managing Safely or SMSTS or SSSTS
- IOSH environmental or equivalent
- CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport
- Previous experience in a supervisory level
- HNC / HND in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- Formal Electrical / Mechanical training
- Impressed Voltage training
- Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor experience
