Passenger Assistant Supervisor

Plymouth

£11.81 p.h

Monday - Friday shifts between 07:00 - 17:00

An exciting opportunity has risen for a Passenger Assistant Supervisor to work with the local authority.

If you are an experienced Retail or Catering Manager / Team Leader / Supervisor looking for a career move, this would be the perfect opportunity to transfer your skills and progress in a new area.

As a Passenger Assistant Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Provide first-line supervisory management to approximately 160 Passenger Assistants
  • Monitoring performance and safety of passenger assistants
undertake risk assessments

  • Be aware of specific H&S & SEN transport issues
  • Contribute to the overall management of the service by regularly reviewing working practices in order to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the service
  • Provide advice and support to staff
  • Performance Management
  • Manage rotas
  • Occasionally undertake duties of a Passenger Assistant when required

Skills / Experience / Qualifications required:

  • GCSE A-C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Management / Supervisory experience of a team of people
  • Organise rotas
  • Undertaken risk assessments
  • Performance managing / one to one's
  • Excellent organisational experience
  • Great people and people management skills
  • Good communicator
