    STORE DIRECTOR - BOND ST, NEW STORE OPENING

    On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dynamic Store Director who is a robust leader dedicated to propelling the business forward through sales support, stringent operational policy enforcement, effective training, and meticulous stock management. This pivotal role ensures the pinnacle of customer service is achieved daily in alignment with our esteemed brand's values. The Store Director empowers team members to make decisions that enhance the customer experience and acts as the local brand representative in coordination with our international headquarters.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Business and Sales Performance:

    • Cultivate, train, and inspire staff to meet and surpass individual and category sales goals through excellent retail practices.
    • Lead by example on the sales floor through active participation, coaching, and team management.
    • Direct initiatives focused on new customer acquisition and the retention of existing clients.
    • Regularly analyze and monitor store KPIs, employing strategic plans to meet desired targets.
    • Conduct thorough daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and analyses to identify and seize opportunities for enhancement.
    • Uphold the utmost level of customer service at all times.
    • Collaborate with the Merchandising team to ensure category performance aligns with overall growth objectives.
    • Manage the store's profit & loss statements.

    Team Leadership:

    • Drive team performance by leading, coaching, and motivating staff to reach their full potential.
    • Provide on-the-floor coaching to the sales team, enhancing the customer shopping experience with targeted feedback.
    • Oversee performance reviews and development plans for all direct reports, ensuring consistent feedback is delivered.
    • Promote a workplace culture that reflects our brand's ethos, demonstrating pride, enthusiasm, and initiative.
    • Approve and oversee store staffing schedules to optimize coverage and service.
    • Maintain the integrity of payroll and related processes.

    Visual Merchandising:

    • Ensure the store's visual standards are consistently excellent.
    • Adjust visual merchandising strategies based on sales performance to maximize revenue.

    Store Operations:

    • Maintain strict adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
    • Work closely with Retail Operations to manage inventory accuracy and control shrinkage within acceptable limits.

    Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

    • Lead the transformation of in-store customer engagement to develop deep and meaningful client relationships.
    • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

    PROFILE:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a luxury retail environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and various store operation applications.
    • Proactive and results-driven.
    • Exceptional ability in team motivation and leadership.
    • Strong focus on customer service and client-oriented thinking.
    • Keen social perceptiveness.
    • Skilled in mediation and negotiation to effectively resolve conflicts.
    • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
    • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
