Our client, a reputable player in the retail and food service supply chain, is looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join their team. This position is a unique chance to steer the company's high standards of food safety and quality systems, whilst innovating new ways to exceed them.
- Supervise and manage customer and supplier complaints, complaints costs, non-conformance reporting, and audit findings.
- Maintain technical contracts, including micro and chemical laboratories, pest control service, calibration services, and technical memberships.
- Assure compliance with food safety, food hygiene legislation, HACCP, and quality management systems.
- Advanced qualifications in Food Safety and Food Hygiene
- Ability to apply knowledge of food safety and food hygiene legislation, including HACCP.
- Strong organisational, motivational, and time management skills
- Minimum 2 years' experience in managing a technical function including Quality, Specifications, and NPD.
