Job Summary
As a Handover & Aftercare Coordinator/Administrator, this role will involve managing the collation of documents and processes associated with project handover and coordinating project defects within our Building division.
This role will require an individual who demonstrates a methodical approach to their work, ensures accuracy of information, strong drive for results and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Regular liaison with project team members on various subcontract packages
- Monthly/weekly project reporting
- Setting up and managing project O&M manual collation and distribution
- Ensuring information is received, reviewed and approved in a timely manner
- Validation of completed O&M manual prior to issue to client
- Management of incoming defects, with allocation and reporting to relevant project team members
- Collating defect updates and weekly reporting to relevant parties
- Liaise with our clients periodically to ensure that the level of satisfaction is high and consistent.
- Managing postcompletion attendances on our projects seasonal commissioning, post occupancy evaluations etc
- Produce and circulate project defect reports/charts
- To respond to inquiries and complaints quickly and efficiently and initiate corrective action if appropriate.
- Other document management activities as required
Personal Profile
- Selfstarter able to work within a team.
- Independent working and driving for results to ensure that tasks are completed
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Overall knowledge of building process and various building components
- Preferably a Relevant qualification in either a Mechanical or Electrical discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- Microsoft Office Proficient
- Quick and adaptable to undertaking new computer packages.
