Introduction
Land and Rural is one of those practice areas which genuinely blends together essentially two distinctly different and yet similar practice areas (residential and commercial property).
We are working with a highly respected, established and growing law firmto appoint both a Solicitor and Senior Solicitor ideally based out of their Edinburgh office.

This is a rare opportunity,given the nature of land and rural work, for the right individual they would be keen to offer a blended approach moving forward of remote working and being in the Edinburgh office.
Position OverviewWorking on a range of land and rural matters, our client has a diverse client base so this position would encompass:
- Working directly with client to take instructions including advising on residential, agricultural, sporting and commercial leases.
- Renewable work which would include liaising and negotiating with the relevant organisation on behalf of our clients.
- Carrying out voluntary registration of title for rural properties
- Associated work in line with both the sale and purchase of forestry, farming, estates etc.
- Sales/purchases of estates, forestry, farms, country houses, steading conversions/plots and cottages
