    Job overview

    This new role is an exciting opportunity to employ your experience, skills and knowledge of Allocate's e-rostering systems in a forward thinking Resourcing department at the Black Country's Lead Provider for mental health and learning disability services. The successful candidate will work within the E-Rostering Team and will be the first point of contact regarding all e-rostering support and change requests, this would include adding new employees to the system in a timely manner, resolving e-rostering queries and supporting the team with the maintenance of the e-rostering system.

    Main duties of the job

  • Resolve queries, questions and complaints by email, phone and face-to-face.
  • Create new employees in Optima based on new starter forms from managers and new starter lists from Recruitment.
  • To have a working knowledge of the basic functions of IT systems provided and maintained by the Resourcing team, as required and subject to full training and support being provided.
  • Ensure that rosters are added according to the Trust's published roster schedule and that auto-rosters are run where applicable.
  • Assist with maintaining annual leave records in Optima to ensure that entitlements are updated correctly on an ongoing basis and that the entitlements are maintained throughout the year when advised by managers/administrators.
  • Liaise with Allocate helpdesk to resolve rostering problems/system queries.
